Annual Sewer Use Fee is $200.00 and is due by 30 Jul. All property owners should receive a bill in the mail.

Sewer System
Our sewer system is maturing and operating as designed.
In order to keep our system operational and to avoid damage charges resulting from abuse of our sewer system each of us must use the system responsibly. If the alarm and the warning light on the gray control box activate, immediately follow instructions on the enclosed refrigerator magnet to avoid serious damage to the expensive grinder pump. Dial 271-1908 to contact The Grinder Pump Club digital pager, and leave a call back telephone number. Someone will attempt to contact you within minutes. The Grinder Pump Club uses a digital pager because cellular telephones are unreliable in our community. The sewer use fee is necessary to pay for the maintenance contract, parts, and legal and engineering fees,. To keep this fee as low as possible please heed the following warnings. Do not cover the grinder basin lid with shrubs or heavy objects. The technicians maintaining the sewer system must periodically remove this cover to clean or repair the grinder pump and circuitry in the basin. Curb stops in your yard or driveway can easily be broken by vehicles driving over them or disturbing them. When they break the sewer system leaks into the ground around them. Because several of these stops have been broken, the SID attempted to protect them with concrete collars. To make them more visible the SID will install reflective markers over the curb stop. Please do not remove these markers.

Grinder Pump
If for any reason you are having difficulties with your sewer system please contact The Grinder Pump Club at 271-1908  (24 Hours / 365 Days of the year)  (this is a digital pager)  This is the best way to get a  hold of someone regarding your grinder pump since cell phones are unreliable in the lake area.

General Information

A commercial portable/chemical toilet is a nuisance to your neighbors and can only be used in an emergency or temporarily when your primary structure is under construction. If you do not intend to build on your lot soon, you must at least install basic utilities to hook up to the sewer system. Request permission to use these toilets from SID 101 Trustees.

If you have questions or comments, please contact your SID 101 Trustees. They are:

Bill Nosek (Clerk) 291-9192
